During the Second World War, life on the remote Scottish islands of Great and Little Todday takes a turn when a ship carrying 50,000 cases of whisky runs aground just offshore. With supplies long since dried up, the islanders race to recover the precious cargo before the determined Captain Wagget of the Home Guard can stop them. What follows is a fast-paced, mischievous comedy packed with eccentric characters, romantic entanglements and plenty of chaos.
