"Murder is always a mistake: one should never do anything one cannot talk about after dinner…"

Lord Arthur Savile is a well-bred young man, but sadly not ‘overburdened with brains’.He is engaged to be married to his lovely fiancée, Sybil and is excited about the forthcoming nuptials.
His prospective mother-in-law, however, is far from excited and at her insistence, Arthur has his fortune told by a celebrated palm reader, Mr Podgers.

Unfortunately for Arthur, Podgers foresees that Arthur is destined to become a murderer.

To spare Sybil any embarrassment, Arthur vows to commit the crime before his wedding day, enlisting the help of his faithful butler, Baines.

Fortunately, Arthur has a long list of relatives who will become his unwitting victims, but who will he choose? Will murder be a mistake?

The play is based on the short story by Oscar Wilde and dazzles with witty repartee between a range of characters who either have their hearts set on murder most foul or are exceedingly good at avoiding being murdered!
